Hello and Welcome!

Hello, everyone! I am thrilled to share my passion for photography with you all. My name is Anita McLeode, and I am a photographer who loves to capture the world around me through my lens. I believe that photography is an art form that can convey the emotions and stories that words alone cannot express.

I specialize in a variety of photography styles, including, weddings, boudoir, maternity, elopements, landscape, wild horses, and abandoned buildings. Each style has its unique challenges, but I love being able to capture the beauty and emotion of each moment.

Weddings are one of my favorite styles to shoot because they are filled with love, joy, and happy memories. It's an honor to be a part of such a special day and capture those precious moments that the couple will cherish for a lifetime. I love working with couples to capture their love story, from the intimate moments to the big moments that will be remembered forever.

Boudoir photography is another style that I find incredibly empowering. It's an opportunity for people to feel beautiful, confident, and sexy in their own skin. I love working with clients to create a comfortable and safe space for them to express themselves and capture images that will make them feel empowered and proud.

I am also a collector of vintage cameras and I use them if they work!

I mostly use my polaroids and offer rolls of them during my sessions.

I am still slowly going through each camera and using it to see the quality of film to see if they are usable.

I can't wait to share more of this project in the future.

Elopements and intimate weddings have become increasingly popular, and I adore capturing these small, intimate moments. Whether it's on top of a mountain or a quiet beach, these elopements are filled with emotion and connection that is truly special to capture.

Maternity photography is a style that I find incredibly meaningful. It's a celebration of new life and the beauty of motherhood. I love working with expectant mothers to capture this special time in their lives, from the excitement of the pregnancy to the joy of holding their newborn.

Landscape photography is a style that has always been close to my heart. There is something about being surrounded by nature that is both calming and exhilarating. I love capturing the beauty of landscapes, whether it's the stunning colors of a sunset or the majesty of a mountain range.

One of my favorite subjects to photograph are wild horses. These majestic creatures are a symbol of freedom, and it's a privilege to be able to capture them in their natural habitat. It's incredible to see the power and beauty of these animals up close.

Abandoned buildings have always intrigued me, and they are another favorite subject of mine. There is something about the history and mystery behind these buildings that draws me in. I love capturing the beauty of these buildings as nature reclaims them.
