There’s something special about witnessing a couple say "I do" in a place that’s rich in both art and history, especially when that history holds a personal connection. Shannon and Preston’s wedding at DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun was one of those unforgettable days that blended romance, legacy, art, and the beauty of the desert.

Shannon and Preston began their wedding day with a private first look and vow reading inside the gallery itself. Surrounded by the vibrant, expressive artwork of Ted DeGrazia, they shared intimate moments filled with excitement and anticipation. For me, capturing these moments in DeGrazia’s gallery was deeply meaningful. My grandfather and DeGrazia had become friends during their time serving together in Tucson with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). DeGrazia’s creative passion was a powerful influence on my grandfather, who was also an artist. Being part of this day in such a personal place was truly an honor.


Preston, an artist himself, felt a deep connection to the gallery’s rich history and artistic vibe, making it the ideal place for him and Shannon to begin their journey together. The stunning backdrop of DeGrazia’s work reflected the couple's shared passion for creativity, making their day even more meaningful.
