For the best lighting, scheduling sessions during golden hour—shortly after sunrise or before sunset—ensures soft, flattering light that enhances the desert scenery. The warm glow during Emilie and Tyler’s session provided an ideal atmosphere for capturing their engagement photos. I am obsessed with the lighting here!
We started their session about 30 minutes before golden hour started. We also stayed a little later to shoot into blue hour, right after sunset because the light was so dreamy!
